Minister of Foreign Affairs Minister responsible for maintaining existing diplomatic relationships and forging new ones, overseeing the signing of treaties, and ensuring The Force Flyer is distributed to all of them. Duties include:- Drafting foreign affairs policy
- Nominating ambassadors to serve at foreign embassies and ensuring they relay important news and statements to their embassies
- Accepting and rejecting embassy requests, as they are received
Embassies that meet the requirements can be accepted, embassies that don't can be rejected
Make sure to consult with the Prime Minister before going through with either action - Overseeing treaty negotiations/high level talks and advising the Prime Minister on foreign affairs
Any such talks, by law, must include the Prime Minister and Founder - Writing statements representing our stance on different international events, as directed by the Prime Minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs may face a diplomatic crisis or particularly sensitive issue that requires a rapid and unified response.
Here are some guidelines for how to deal with an event of this nature, should it arise:- Urge all Cabinet members and Ambassadors to avoid making any statements on the situation prematurely
- Inform the Cabinet of what has happened and determine our official position on it
- Write a statement that Ambassadors can distribute to their embassies, based on this position
- Provide Ambassadors with additional information on the event and our position, so they can answer any questions that come their way
- Ensure, above all, that our response is rapid, unified, and unwavering
