The Border Commission maintains the recognized political map of the UN and determines the legality of any expansions and annexations. Expansions shall be made below this post. The Cartographer, Battadia, shall determine the legality of the post and will reply with their approval or rejection. Guidelines are as follows:

• You are entitled to a +3 province expansion for supplying the additional information in your starting claim.
• If you do not qualify for the factbook-expansion you may create a post announcing your expansion regarding the following rules:
• Provinces connected to your capital by land, by sea-bridges, or nearby coastal provinces costs $15 Billion UND and requires a post at least 50 words long in length detailing your acquisition of the territory.
• Provinces disconnected to your capital and require leaving your nation's land borders, seafaring, or air travel to reach costs $25 Billion UND and requires a post at least 100 words long in length detailing your acquisition of territory. This is to reflect the difficulty of ruling far-away places and the restlessness in colonial assets.
• Provinces owned by another player are not able to be claimed by an expansion post. To take over other player's territory the two parties must engage in war.
• Your claims must make legitimate sense and have reasoning. Likewise, your posts regarding expansion must be tied to the take over of the areas you claim. These posts must be dispatches published under Bulletin: Policy.

• You may claim more than one province in an expansion post, however no more than 5, and for each additional province claimed increases the post length and cost by that given amount (e.g. 5 connected provinces costs $50B UND and 250 words).
• once you have expanded to 50 provinces, every new province purchase above that will cost twice as much UND but same amount of words.
