House Bill 24: Citizen Rights & Safeguard Act

Purpose: To safeguard citizens from self-incrimination and provide additional rights during a trial.

Article 1: Union Bureau of Investigation
1. In addition to the Bureau chief, the elected judge must authorize a search warrant.
2. When executing a search warrant or charging a citizen they must first be informed of the rights granted to them either by House Law or the Force Constitution.

Article 2: Citizen Rights
1. No person shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself.
2. You have the right to seek legal counsel before and during a trial.
3. You have a right to face your accuser and compel their testimony during a trial.
4. You have the right to call witnesses on your behalf during a trial.

This bill has passed the House and is now awaiting signature from Renegalle and the Prime Minister.

Due to inaction, the House has passed an override vote and the Judge has approved the bill.
It is now law.
