House Bill 28: House Representative Ease of Reading Act
Purpose: To allow Representatives to more easily interpret amendments to the constitution.
Article 1: Changes to Proposed Amendments
1. When an amendment is proposed, the following should be bolded:
1.1. Any and all new material proposing to be added to the document.
2. If material is removed, it is to be striked out in the new article to indicate so.
3. After the bill has passed voting, the Speaker of the House, The Founder, or the writer of the bill may remove these bolded and striked out characters and properly format the amendment.
