House Bill 46: House Information Act

Purpose: Let citizens know if their elected representatives are correctly attending to their duties and correctly representing them.

Author(s): Suter and helped by Sir Salibaic

Article 1: Informing the citizens

1. The current Speaker of the House must always inform the citizens of when a House meeting or debate is taking place.
2. Each week, the Speaker has to inform citizens on the discord and NationStates what legislation passed this week.
3. If, for any reason, the Speaker is absent. These tasks will have to be executed by the Deputy Speaker of the House.

Article 2: House Hearings

1. When the House is having a meeting or a debate. It is the duty of the Speaker to open the House to the citizens and let them attend the meeting or debate.
1.1. The House shall not have the right to block any citizens from attending one.
2. The Speaker can issue a House pass to citizens that can allow them to talk during a meeting or debate.
