Each Ministry/area of governance has its own staff who work for the Minister to help implement their agenda and keep day to day activities running.
Why would you
willingly want to do work, you may ask? Your work will be different all the time and if you enjoy it (perhaps if you like writing or designing graphics for example), you'll find it worthwhile. Not only that, but you'll be able to visibly see your work used in the region and have pride knowing you did that. Not good enough for you? If you've ever considered running for office or becoming a Minister, having experience in that Ministry will go a long way in helping your chances.
Below, a description of each Ministry's work can be found with available jobs and what they entail (a Minister will select your job after you're accepted, if you have prior experience, or once you've shown your strong suit as a member of the Ministry)Ministry of Internal AffairsThis Ministry is tasked with recruitment (bringing new people into the region) and outreach (welcoming new people to the region and helping them out).
Host: If you're a people-person, this job is perfect for you. You'll get to welcome new people to the region and help them get acquainted with it, letting them know of the opportunities available here, and helping them every step of the way.
Recruiter: If you are outgoing and friendly, this job is perfect for you. You'll be responsible for helping bring new people into Force in a variety of different ways. Your job is vital to keeping the region alive.
Ministry of Foreign AffairsThis Ministry is responsible for building, maintaining, and sometimes cutting ties with foreign regions. Through its work, treaties with a host of different regions have been signed, our influence has grown, and crises have been averted through skillful diplomacy.
Envoy: As an envoy, you will be at the forefront of our diplomatic interactions. You will be responsible for conveying messages between us and our embassies as well as representing us abroad. If you are good with formal interactions, feel comfortable in all sorts of different situations, and don't mind putting in some time, this job is perfect for you.
Diplomatic Strategist: As a strategist, you will be responsible for making key decisions on our foreign policy. This includes deciding whether to deny or accept embassy requests, choosing which embassies to pursue, and deciding how to respond to and avert diplomatic crises. If you're able to think through problems fast, are sensible, and have some available time, this job is right for you.
Ministry of Media and CultureThis Ministry is responsible for planning and running activities, building Force's Culture, producing editions of our foreign update, The Force Flyer, and recording Union history. Its work has helped put on a number of different events for citizens to enjoy, has successfully produced graphics for many of them, and has worked on various other aspects of Force's Culture
Thinker: A thinker will be tasked with coming up with new ideas for activities which our citizens can participate in. They will also be responsible for planning and hosting these activities, creating graphics for them, and encouraging the spread our culture throughout the region. If you're creative and can come up with good ideas for events, contests, and other activities, this is the perfect job for you.
Columnist: A columnist will be responsible for working on an article (or more) for The Force Flyer and producing other pieces of written material at short notice. If you enjoy writing and can write descriptive, error-free, professional content, this is the job for you.
Historian: A historian will be responsible for helping to record the history of the Union as a whole. In the past, this has focused primarily on the history of Force, but going forward, it will focus on the Union as a whole. Historians will be responsible for recording a specific piece of history. Some will be responsible for recording the history of the Union of a whole, that is, the major events that happen federally which change history. Others will be responsible for territorial history (excluding Force, since its history is encompassed in the Union's history).
Ministry of RoleplayThis Ministry is responsible for overseeing the Union RP, where nations can war, engage in diplomacy, pass policies, and expand their territory. The Ministry is also responsible for updating the map, which is specifically used by the RP.
Statistician: A statistician shall be responsible for updating the statistics for RPers as they pass new policies, which affect things such as their population and GDP growth.
Cartographer: A cartographer shall help to keep the map or maps up to date, to ensure the Union always has a well-running RP.
