Required: Questions for all Prime Minister Candidates

1. What makes you the best candidate for Prime Minister? What do you bring to the office that your opponent does not and why do you think you are better positioned to succeed in whatever you undertake?
A fresh perspective to the Office of Prime Minister. While experience is certainly beneficial, a fresh pair of lenses is always useful for sure.

2. How do you plan to address the current recruitment issues facing not just the capital but the Union as a whole, what steps will you take and how will this be brought about?
I would shift the focus of our recruitment away from numbers, and put more on retention. If we can get more to stay within, then the speed of recruitment will matter less and allow us to weather lulls better.

3. Who would you appoint to your ideal Cabinet (ex-members, people who would be ineligible, and people not necessarily willing to serve can be included)? Why would you choose these people and what specific things would they bring to each office that you consider being most important?
DPM: I’m indecisive over whether Sir Salibaic or West Kronisia would be the better DPM in the most ideal cabinet, for both are excellent citizens of the Union and would be a boon to any cabinet.
MoFA: Sir Lashnakia ; Sir Lashnakia is one of the few people within the Union that I consider to surpass me in terms of FA prowess. He’s masterfully managed the MoFA during his tenure of it, and removing him from the positions would be disastrous.
MoIA: New Waltonburg ; In the past they were excellent at managing the ministry. They’ve shown themselves to be superb at delegating within the ministry.
MoM: Sir Azerurbia ; Despite our tense relationship, Sir Azerubia produced some of the best Force Flyers when he was MoM. If he ever returned to the mantle of MoM, it would be beautiful.
MoC: Qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm 1234567890- ; Pikacurhin has consistently led the MoC with diligence, producing wonderful events over and over again. It would be foolish to not pick them.
MoRP:
PS: Moon Frost ; They seem to understand what to do as is from what I am aware of.

4. If elected, how do you plan (if at all) to change the structure of the existing Ministries? Would you consider abolishing, creating, or merging any of them? Why?
No.

5. What will be on your legislative agenda? What reforms would you like to make to existing laws and how will you lobby the House to pass these reforms?
I do not have any bills I would like to pass, create, or repeal.

6. What plans do you have to tackle inactivity in the World Assembly, what will you do to address this issue? Please provide a detailed plan.
Promote cross endorsement, everywhere, heavily.

7. The Union in recent history has had an image problem when it comes to foreign affairs, how do you plan to address this?
Figure out exactly, down to the letter, what others deem the issue is, and then remedy it, and if it is already fixed, give them proof that it is. Tell them to share the news that the issue is now nonexistent. If a new issue surfaces, tackle it not as soon as possible, but as soon as the best solution can be found.

8. Do you plan on restoring the Union Armed Forces? If so, what do you plan for it?
No.

9. As Prime Minister of the Union, it is your job to ensure the voices of every state and territory is heard and not just the capital. What plans do you have to address the lack of inter-union participation?
Increase the power of the High Commission, give it some real backbone so that it can address the issues of the Union properly. Make more proactive instead of reactive.

10. The Union Roleplay has suffered from serious inactivity issues. What are your plans to address this?
Ditch an official ‘Union Roleplay’ and instead endorse independent roleplays.

11. The Union has suffered from a lack of voter turnout in recent months. What are your plans to address this?
Promote it, aggressively.

12. Any other comments you would like to add?
I wish my opponent good luck in the upcoming election, and that I would be willing to serve them if they win.

Required: Questions for all House Representative Candidates

1. Which House Bills do you plan to pass and/or repeal? Why?
I do not have any bills I would like to pass, create, or repeal.

2. In what ways should the Constitution be amended, if at all? Explain how the changes would improve the current system of governance.
I cannot think of any ways it should be amended at the moment.

3. What qualifies you to serve in the House? What makes this qualifying?
I have served in The House before. I know the procedures.

4. Do you think any changes should be made to existing House Procedures? If so, what changes should be made and why?
I do not think any changes are needed.

5. If elected, do you plan on running for Speaker? If so, what makes you a good candidate for this position and if not, who do you think would be a better candidate?
No. I do not feel I am the best for the job. I feel Sir Suter of RGBN would be a better candidate.

6. How do you plan to ensure the voices of your constituents are heard while in office?
Submit any and all proposals from them.

7. How do you feel about the influence parties have on the House and electoral process, and should it be more or less? Explain your answer fully.
I feel that as long as there are parties, they will hold at least some influence on the house and electoral process. I also feel that if they had less influence they would fight for more, and if they had more influence it would be chaos, therefore I think they have just enough power currently.

8. The House of Representatives is the sole legal body with the ability to remove a Prime Minister from office. Under what circumstances would you support the removal of one and what constitutes 'going too far'? Cite specific legal passages if necessary and ensure that your answer is sufficiently detailed.
If the Prime Minister was to commit either, treason, nonfeasance, malfeasance, perjury, or voting fraud, I feel I would support their impeachment for in my opinion, I feel that if even just one of these acts were committed, The Union would suffer greatly.

I would like to charge Sir The Scottish Republic for committing Nonfeasance during their tenure as Speaker of the House. They failed to do their duty to assign a number to the bills that passed the House during their tenure as is the duty of the Speaker per Article 8 of House Bill 56.

Requests for Review / Request For Review: Executive Action #19
« on: February 01, 2022, 10:35:06 am »
Honorable Justices, I would like to request the High Court to review Executive Action #19. It potentially contradicts the current Constitution, but nothing deliberately repeals, and therefor it could, depending on interpretation, still technically be in effect.

Requests for Review / Request For Review: §D.2.3.
« on: February 01, 2022, 10:12:06 am »
I would like to request the High Court review §D.2.3. as it seems to contradict itself, so I believe would be prudent for the correct interpretation of it be made by the Court. There is also the possibility that when the amendment was formally added to the Constitution, a typo was made.

§D.2.3. copied directly and unedited from Constitution topic on the Forum.
2.3. Executive Orders may be issued by the Founder or Prime Minister which shall have the power to do anything except contradict, amend, or suspend the Constitution or House Law. They may not amend or suspend state or territorial law. They may contradict state and territorial laws, in accordance with the powers given by this Constitution, but may not contradict state constitutions (or the equivalent).
