Cabinet News / Resignation as Deputy Prime Minister
« on: October 15, 2019, 07:09:19 PM »
Due to the fact that I will be leaving government soon anyway, I will be resigning my post as DPM. However, Iím not going without citing my displeasure at the incumbent PMís decision to bring back a court case against Salibaic, despite bringing the same case a number of months ago, and agreeing a deal with the defendant, which the defendant subsequently kept. It is unfortunately extremely clear and blatant that he is trying to attack our democracy. Salibaic currently has a comfortable lead, and because the PM sees this he brings a petty issue which was resolved back to the forefront. His term has made it extremely obvious that he is trying to cling onto power, I canít cite a single accomplishment except redoing the constitution, and that may not have had to be done in such urgent fashion had he been a lot more active. His inactivity was ridiculous, and had the House been more active, less busy he himself couldíve been in trouble with a court case.

It is a shame I may have to leave the government permanently this way, and it is a shame that someone who seemed so dedicated has created so many problems.

It is with great regret, despite the upcoming closure of voting that I request the Prime Minister accept my resignation, I hold no ill will to the PM despite this controversy, but I cannot continue to serve, despite the rather strange circumstances of this resignation.

House / Stepping down from the Force House of Representatives
« on: September 14, 2019, 03:38:56 AM »
As per my announcement last week, I am going to step down as a House Representative and Speaker. I didn't achieve all I wanted to achieve but there were certainly enjoyable moments. Most of my reasons for resigning is on my previous announcement.

Citizens of Force,

In my time in Force, it has been my privilege to serve you in many a position, including the great office of Prime Minister. I have tried to lay a foundation out for future PMs to succeed, and for Force to remain sustainable, even in as difficult a time as this. However, as many may have noticed since the holidays ended my activity has been decreasing, due to increased RL responsibilities and work. After a long period of thinking since the end of the holiday, I have decided that I will be taking a substantial step away from Force, and NationStates in general. I will conclude my term as Deputy Prime Minister, and will be stepping down as a House Representative at the end of this week and coming session. It is time for me to focus more of my attention on real life, and make NS a side-hustle. I will still be sticking around, will run my own news service for a bit, but my activity will wade away, and I will be taking a place on the sidelines. I thank all the people that have given me opportunities here, and I wish you all the best.

Lashnakia,
